This brand new GSM smart power socket is high quality with the tri-frequency/tri-band (850/1800/1900Mhz (North America version) or 900/1800/1900Mhz (Europe and Asia version). You can control the GSM power socket through short text messages or making a phone call. Controlling variety of home appliances and electronic products in any place worldwide by fixed telephone or mobile phone no matter where you go. Remote control air conditionings, electric heaters, water pump, motors, fans, servers, relay station, TVs, water heaters, electric doors, rice cookers, lamps, speakers or other equipments with voltage AC 110~220V.

This socket is user friendly. Here we will show the setting procedure to you at first.

1) Plug in the power cable.

2) Insert SIM card to SIM card position.

Please do remember inserting your SIM card before power of socket is on. Initialization time is 30seconds after power is on. Relevant operations can be done after initialization. All switches are disconnected in default state.

3) Turn on the power.

When the SIG lights change to flash every 4 seconds from every 1 second, it enters to GSM network. After initialization, you can go on relevant setting and controlling.

4) Set Password.

User password must be set when you use it at the first time. Initial password is: 000000. Password must contents 0-9 Arabic numbers (no letters or other symbols, otherwise it will be an error). Password setting format: “SN +six old passwords +NEW +six new passwords”. For example, if you want to set your password to:”123456″, then you should edit the text message:”SN000000NEW123456′ and send to GSM socket. You will receive the text message “NEW SN SETOK NEW SN IS123456 (New password)”. The new password is with the power-off memory function.

5) Set owner telephone number.

There are two ways setting the owner number: one is through mobile phone SMS settings, the other is through the SET button of socket.

① For example, if passwords is 123456, you want to set 13788889999 to be owner number, and then edit the text message “SN123456SET1 3788889999′ send to GSM socket, you will receive a message: “13788889999SETOK” if you set successfully. Only the owner number can dial to the socket and control SW1 -SW3. Owner numbers are with a power-off memory function.

② Press the SET button of socket, STA 1 LED light will flash for 30 seconds. During this time, your use your mobile phone dial to socket, socket will automatically hang up the telephone after getting through. This telephone number will become owner numbers. Numbers with a power-off memory function.

It can be used in various sectors. For instance, remote controlling unwatched relay station, server to control their air conditionings, fans on and off in order to save energy. People can use mobile phone to switch on electric cookers or air conditionings to save time. You can remote control electric heater or feeding pets by using mobile phone from all over the world. Remote controlling gates and windows via GSM long range control. Remote switch on and off motor, servers or do reset controlling.

Winch Motor Remote Controlling

One of our customers wanted to have a remote control kit to replace his manual switch bar to control his winch motor running up and down. This is his original wiring diagram. AC 110V will input via white wire and black wire. Through converter, AC 110V will be converted to direct current. In the violet circle, this is the manual switch control area. He has to use control switch bar to control winch motor up and down. He thought that it is inconvenient to him. So he wondered if there is a favorable remote controller for him to solve this problem.

We recommend him a 2 Channel 30A remote control kit(S2U-AC220+C-3) which features in 30A high power current. It controls lights, motors, fans, electrically operated doors/locks/windows/blinds/cars or other appliances with voltage AC110~240V or DC0~28V which is normally open and closed contact.

Our thought is that the red circle part in the following picture will be replaced by our RF receiver.

So we drew a wiring diagram. The Black and Red wires (picture above )will be connected to terminals C and terminals B on relay 1&relay 2 respectively. White and Brown wires(picture above) will be wired to Motor.

There are 4 controlling modes for your reference. They are toggle, momentary, latched, momentary + toggle. As for motor controlling, we suggest momentary mode.

Setting control mode Momentary: Only connect Jumper-1.

Control mode Momentary: Press and hold -> On; Release -> Off.

Press and hold button A of remote: Turn on relay 1, motor runs up.

Release button A: Turn off relay 1, motor stops.

Press and hold button B of remote: Turn on relay 2, motor runs down.

Release button B: Turn off relay 2, motor stops.

Normally Open /Closed Wiring Method

In a switch where the contacts remain in one state unless actuated, the contacts can either be normally open (abbreviated “n.o.” or “no“) until closed by operation of the switch, or normally closed (“n.c.” or “nc“) and opened by the switch action. Our remote receiver can be grouped into two types according to its current output modes. They are normally open/closed switch connection or current direct output connection (Controlled device can get power from powered receiver directly).

Recently, one customer sent a picture of “Normally Open/Closed Receiver Connecting to an AC Lamp” to us to ask whether it is correct or not.

Unfortunately, it is a wrong wiring. Please see a red cross to the lamp wiring from the following picture. This red cross points out the wrong wiring. AC lamp should not wire to the normally open terminals of receiver because there is no current through them which are only equivalent to a switch.

The correct wiring is as follow. This is the 1 channel normally open/ closed ac receiver (S1U-AC220) wiring. AC lamp is connected to normally open terminals B&C. And add a wire between terminals B&N and another wire to terminals C&L. At last, wire a plug to terminals L&N. Then, we finish the wiring.

Encoding and Decoding of Remote Controller

Remote controller has toggle, momentary, latched or even mixed modes. We should learn or delete code from transmitter for receiver to operate or shift mode. Different mode is used in different controlling. Toggle mode is used for light controlling, lock controlling… Momentary is used for motor controlling, rolling blinds controlling… Latched mode is available for long distance controlling (no line of sight, lots of trees or other obstacles in-between).

Here, we’d like to introduce the procedure of code learning and deleting.

Learning code of remote control:

1)       Press buttons to control lamps, there is no response from lamps at first. (No codes in the receiver)

2)       Press and hold the button of receiver; signal LED on the receiver keeps shining. Then release the button. The receiver enters into status of LEARNING.

3)           Press any one button on remote control. If signal LED flashes quickly 15 times and turns off.

4)       Press buttons to turn on or off lamps, it means learning is successful.

Deleting Code:

We have learned remote control to the receiver. If you don’t want the receiver to work with the remote control or want to shift working mode, you can delete all codes of remote controls which are stored in the receiver.

1)       Press buttons, you can turn on lamps. (All codes are stored in the receiver at first.)

2)       Delete codes: Press and hold the button of receiver until signal LED flashes slowly; release the button, LED keeps slow flash.

3)       Press buttons to control lamps, there is no response from lamps. That means all stored codes have been deleted successfully.

Here is the wiring diagram and picture. Motor is connected to common terminal ”B”. And normally open terminal“C” is connected to positive wire. Normally closed terminal “A” is connected to negative wire.

After wireless network connection, press the icon of WIFI Controller software to turn on it.

There are 3 modes in common use. They are toggle, momentary and latched. But we usually use momentary for motor controlling.
