This WIFI controller supports both 2.1 ~ 4.0 version Android software system and 4.6 ~ 6.1 version iOS software system. And we’d like introduce how to control DC motor under the iOS system. This controller works on the jailbroken iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch. Let’s see the procedure.

Here is the wiring diagram and picture. Motor is connected to common terminal ”B”. And normally open terminal“C” is connected to positive wire. Normally closed terminal “A” is connected to negative wire.

After finishing wiring, we switch on power. The LEDs of “Power”, “Ready” and “Link” are on one by one. We begin to operate.

After wireless network connection, press the icon of WIFI Controller software to turn on it.

There are 3 modes in common use. They are toggle, momentary and latched. But we usually use momentary for motor controlling.

Press and hold button 1, it is the motor’s positive rotation. Slide panels open. Release button 1, it is motor’s stop.

Press and hold button 2, it is the motor’s reverse rotation. Slide panels closed. Release button 2, it is motor’s stop.

How to Remote Control Droplight with Mobile Phone

One of our customers said that he installed droplight on the wall of stairs. He wanted to remote control droplight but sometimes it is not convenient to him to have a transmitter.

We recommend him our Smartphone WIFI remote controller WF-8-1R (iOS system). It supports 4.6 ~ 6.1 version iOS software system. That is to say, if you use our WIFI remote control and install our WIFI software in your mobile phone. Your mobile phone will be a transmitter which can work with WIFI controller in pairs to control electric devices.

Wiring:

Connect AC lamp to the output terminals (B&C) of WIFI controller.

Software installation:

Install the WIFI Controller software to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch by iTunes.

Note: Your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch must be jailbroken.

Switch on the power of WIFI controller. Wait until power led and wifi start-up led turn on. After wireless network connection, press the icon of WIFI Controller software to turn on it.

Toggle Controlling:

Set up Toggle control mode: Press the “T” icon of channel 1. Choose T (Toggle) control mode.

Press button 1 and the color of button 1 icon changes to green, AC lamp will be on. Press the icon again, the lamp will be off.

Time Delay Controlling:

Set up Time Delay control mode: Press “0s” icon of channel 1. Enter the delay time, then Press “Ok” icon. The adjustable delay time is range from 1 second to 99 hours. We set delay time 5 seconds.

Press button 1 to turn on the lamp.

After 5 seconds, the lamp is off by itself.

Time Delay mode is much better for you to control your bracket light. If you set the delay time in advance, you don’t have to switch off it again because it is off automatically when delay time is up.

How to Use WIFI Controller with iOS System to Control LED Light

Smartphone WIFI Controller now supports 4.6 ~ 6.1 version iOS system other than 2.1 ~ 4.0 version Android software system. It is another choice of controlling device when you use iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Its controlling software is installed in your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch by iTunes.

We try to demonstrate the controlling of LED light by iPod.

First, we prepare materials and do some wiring.

After switching on the power, 3 LED indication lights on the controller are on one by one. (iPod has connected to WIFI controller when 3 LED indication lights are all on.) We can start the operation.

Press “T” to set “Toggle Mode”.

Press button 1, turn on the light strip. Press button 1 again, turn off the light strip.

Press”0s” to set “Time Delay Mode”. Set the timer for 5 seconds and turn on the light.
