Retrieving Motion Detector by 1 Channel 12V Radio Module

Question from customer:

I want a kit radio module 1 channel (12V), can transmit the state of a dry contact input (on transmitter). This is to retrieve the status of a motion detector. Distance 60m open field.

Answer:

We recommend 1 channel 12V rf receiver and transmitter with dry contact input (S1L-DC12-ANT2 & CB-2N). The very special design is its transmitter with a dry contact input aside. The triggering method of this transmitter is connection of two wires on it. There is only one channel at that relay on the receiver. The output contacts of relay are normally open and closed. Working distance of transmitter and receiver with external extend antenna are 2000M / 6000ft (theoretically).

Wiring:

Wires on the transmitter should be connected to the contacts of motion detector (original device).

The normally open contacts B&C of receiver should be connected to the device being controlled.

Maybe you can wire a lamp to the receiver. We offer three voltage versions for receiver: 9V, 12V and 24V. You can choose the right one according to the voltage of device being controlled.

Operation:

When the motion detector (original device) is triggered and begin to work, the transmitter is also triggered and then transmits an rf signal “ON” to the receiver. After the receiver receives the signal, contacts B&C are closed; the lamp being controlled will be turn on.

When the motion detector (original device) is not triggered and stop working, the transmitter is also triggered and then transmits an rf signal “OFF” to the receiver. After the receiver receives the signal, contacts B&C are cut; the lamp being controlled will be turn off.

 

Note:

The output contacts of motion detector should be normally open / normally closed.

Buttons on the remote are only used for test.

The big button is for testing “ON” signal. The small button is for testing “OFF” signal.

How to Remote Control 4 AC Lamps Off/On

2000M long range 4CH AC power output remote control kit (S4X-AC220-ANT2+CB-4L) is recommended here. 4-button transmitter is compatible with 4 channel receiver. One button is to its correspondent channel. You can connect 4 lamps to receiver. This remote is 220VAC power output so you have not to supply any power to controlled lamps. With external extended antenna, the transmission distance reach 2000m in the open field.

Here is the wiring diagram. You can connect 4 AC lamps to “A&B” output terminals of receiver. Then supply power to receiver.

Setting “Toggle Mode” Only connect Jumper-2 with a little jumper.

4 Channel DC Output Remote Controller for Garden Lamps and Pond Pump

Overview:

I’m interested in buying transmitters and receivers 12 volts for three garden lights and one pond pump, but could you please advise me on which accessories and channels I would need for this?

Solution:

We recommend 4 Channel DC Output Long Range Kit (S4X-DC12-ANT2 & CB-4L). 4 channels can output 12V power, so garden lights and pond pump can be wired to terminals of relays respectively. It is 10amps of each channel. The transmitting distance is up to 2000m (6000FT) in open air with external mount antenna. It is very appropriate for outside pond pump and garden lights.

Wire three garden lights and pond pump to four relay terminals one by one. Supply 12V power, switch on power. Receiver, garden lights and pond pump turn on immediately.

RF Remote Control System is Applied at Private Airport

“I am looking for a remote and multiple receivers for a small private airport. We have a controller box switch that activates when you key the microphone 7 times on a specific frequency. I would like to plug a dc power adapter into this unit and wire into one of your remotes. The runway lights are all solar dc leds. I will need 12 receivers total to start out. My question is: Can one remote, controlled by external wires, send a signal out to multiple receivers at the same time?  In other words, if the remote detects dc input and sends out an ON signal, can several receivers receive the ON signal at the same time?”

That is to say, when you offer dc power 5~28V to this transmitter, it will send signal out to the receiver. The receiver is long range with external extended antenna. When it works in pairs with transmitter, their transmitting distance can reach 2000m (6000ft) in the open field. One transmitter can send out ON signal to make several receivers ON at the same time if you use the same code of those transmitter and receivers.

When the contacts of two wires of transmitter input 5~28V voltage, the transmitter is triggered and then transmits an rf signal “ON” to the receiver. After the receiver receives the signal, contacts B&C are closed; the solar led lights being controlled are on.

When the contacts of two wires of transmitter’s power is cut, the transmitter is triggered and then transmits an rf signal “OFF” to the receiver. After the receiver receives the signal, contacts B&C are cut; the solar led lights being controlled are off.

It is the normally open and closed contact, so your device at port is supposed to be wired to normally open contact. You can only wire one device on that controller because it has only one relay (one channel).

After wiring, the device at port should be added additional power. Turn on the controller.

Press button: Turn on relay, turn on device (connect B and C, disconnect A and B)

Press button again: Turn off relay, turn off device (disconnect B and C, connect A and B)
