Long Range Communication System (Remote Control Application)

Question from customer:

I need a remote valve setup for a nitrogen purging system. The valve is 100volt 10amp that needs to be controlled by latching switch setup. I’ve seen many setups everywhere that will work but my problem is that I need some sort of indications, such as a led lamp or something at the remote to verify whether the valve is open or not. Do you have something like this available?

Feasible solution:

We found a solution to solve your problem. We also made a simulation test.

You need feedback to the remote or another receiver with a signal light to verify remotely that the valve is open. We’d like to prepare two sets of remote control and make them a remote control group. The main system is 1 channel 12VDC output receiver (S1XL-DC12)+ long range transmitter (CB-2). The secondary system is still 1 channel 12VDC output receiver (S1XL-DC12) , but we use dc triggered transmitter (CB-2V, triggered method DC power 5~28V input), which is applied for one device controlling another device. That is to say, the transmitter will send out RF signal to receiver as long as it gets a 5~28V voltage from a device.

The following picture is the material preparation.

S1XL-DC&CB-2&CB-2V material COPY

When you add the external extended antenna, you will make the remote controller working distance to 2000M in the open air.

Here is the wiring diagram.

2S1XL-DC12-ANT2+CB-2V+CB-2 circuit

The wired transmitter (CB-2) will work with Receiver 1 as one group. The wireless transmitter (CB-2V) will work with Receiver 2 as another group. We have a wired remote transmitter at the first receiver that it will remotely turn on a lamp at the second receiver near the wireless transmitter.

100M RF Wireless Remote Switch for Solenoids and Linear Motors

Question from customer:

I need to remotely control two on/off solenoids and two linear actuators on my truck. They are all actuated by 24V power supply in my truck. Do you have a system that will do this?

solenoid valvesolenoid valve

linear actuator in truck COPY

Answer:

We recommend the model of 4 channel multi-mode 24V remote control (S4U-DC24+C-4). This kind of remote control is 4 channels with multi-modes, which includes toggle, momentary, latched and momentary+toggle. It is flexible choice for you. You can choose the 24V actuated remote control since there is 24V power in your truck. The working distance is about 100M.

remote control

Then connect 2 linear actuators to channel 1 and 2 in parallel, connect two on/off solenoids to channel 3 and 4 respectively. You can set the receiver to Momentary (Channel 1~2) + Toggle (Channel 3~4) control mode.

The wiring is just a little complicated. Please see the wiring diagram below, B is common terminal. Each linear actuator motor is supposed to be connected to B terminals of relay 1&2. A is normally closed terminal and C is normally open terminal. Connect terminal C to the positive and connect terminal A to the negative. Each solenoid is connected to B&C terminals of relay 3&4.

circuit

After wiring, you can control them by the transmitter C-4.

Press and hold button 1, linear actuators move forward together, release the button 1, linear actuators stop together.

Press and hold button 2, linear actuators move backward together, release the button 2, linear actuators stop together.

Press button 3, turn on solenoid 1. Press button 3 again, turn off solenoid 1.

Press button 4, turn on solenoid 2. Press button 4 again, turn off solenoid 2.

AC 24V Irrigation System Remote Controlling(8 Zones)

Question from customer:

Hello, I’m hoping you can assist me with product selection. What I’m hoping I can do is use one of your long range remote control systems to control the zones in an irrigation controller. The irrigation controller and irrigation zones operate on 24VAC.

I think that your product S8CA-DC12-ANT2+CB-8 would work for my needs if the relays were 24V AC instead of 120V AC. Attached is a diagram of how I’m envisioning it all working.

Answer:

8 Channel long range remote control is designed to be normally open and close connection. So all relays in this receiver can work at 24VAC. We add external extended antenna in the receiver in order to extend the range of remote controlling. It is estimated that the working distance of remote reach 2000M in the open filed.

remote control

There is 8 channel for your irrigation zones. According to your diagram, you can wire the irrigation zones and receiver as follow.

circuit

We supply receiver with other power so that no interference will generate between remote control and irrigation controller.

There are 8 working modes. You can choose any of them as you want. You can use one transmitter to open and close irrigation zones remotely.

DC 12V Remote Control Switches AC 220V Triggered Modem

Question from customer:

I want to use your system to remote control turn on / off the power of the modem. I go from my office on the third floor of our home to the basement in order to turn off and disconnect the power to the modem. Then after a few minutes I reverse the process and reestablish the power to the modem and turn the modem on. The modem is power by an AC Adaptor (INPUT = 120-240V OUTPUT = 12V ).

modem

Answer:

We recommend the model of 1 channel DC long range remote control kit (S1X-DC12-ANT2+1CB-2) to you. It can wireless control electric devices and  is easy to install. With direct power output, it means that you don’t need to supply power to the controlled device. It is capable of controlling lights, motors, fans, electrically operated doors/locks/windows/blinds/cars or other appliances.

You can turn on/off the receiver with transmitter (remote control) from any place within a reliable distance; the wireless RF signal can pass through walls, floors and doors. We add external extended antenna to it. The antenna can extend the controlling range to 2000M. So you can rest assured that signal can get through any obstacles to reach modem at your home.
