Wi-Fi is a popular technology that allows an electric device to access or connect to the internet wireless by radio waves. With external antenna for longer range, the theatrical working distance is 2000M (6000ft) in the open air. Here is the controlling procedure of DC motor for your information. The material is Wi-Fi controller, jailbroken iPod, DC motor and power adaptor.

Connect the motor to the output terminals of WIFI controller as the wiring diagram shown.

Switch on the power of WIFI controller. Wait until power led, ready led and link led turn on. So the Wi-Fi network is connected. After wireless network connection, press the icon of WIFI Controller software to turn it.

Set up working mode for each channel of relay. Four working modes Toggle, Momentary, Latching and Time Delay are provided.

Set up Momentary control mode: Press the “M” icon of any channel. Choose M (Toggle) control mode.

Press and hold button 1, the motor is positive rotation. Release button 1, motor stops.

1 Channel Mult-Modes Remote Switch for Float Switch and Pump

Question from customer:

A relay is activated by a float switch through 600 feet of underground wire (12 volt dc) to control a water pump. But this wire was broken. So controlling between float switch and relay is cut off. I need a transmitter activated by float switch, and a receiver which activates a 12 volt relay. I have 12 volt power supply for receiver and transmitter.

Answer:

We recommend the normally open/ closed remote control applied for device control another device (S1PU-DC12-ANT2 & CB-2N).

The transmitter, CB-2N, is battery-operated long range transmitter with extended two wires. Triggered method of this transmitter is connection of two wires. When two wires are closed, the transmitter will send signal to receiver. The receiver is high power with normally open and closed terminals. With extended antenna, the theoretical working distance of remote controller is up to 2000M. Now that the wire between float switch and relay was broken, you can connect your float switch to two wires of CB-2N, and use this receiver S1PU-DC12-ANT2to replace your 12 volt relay. Please see the following picture.

Normally open and closed terminals A&B are connected to water pump. And we supply power source to receiver.

When the tank is empty, the float switch circuit is closed to trigger transmitter (CB-2N) to send signal to receiver. When receiver receives “ON” signal, it will activate pump to fill water into tank. When the tank is full, the float switch circuit is open to open transmitter circuit to send signal to receiver. When receiver receives “OFF” signal, it will stop pump to pump water to tank.

After switching on power, wait until power led, ready led and link led turn on. So the Wi-Fi network is connected. After wireless network connection, press the icon of WIFI Controller software installed in advance to turn on it.

Set up Toggle control mode: Press the “T” icon of any channel. Choose T (Toggle) control mode.

Press the icon and the color of icon changes to green, the corresponding relay will be on. Lamp is on.

Press the icon again, the relay will be off. Lamp is off.

Set up Time Delay control mode: Press “0s” icon of any channel. Enter the delay time, then press “Ok” icon. The adjustable delay time is range from 1 second to 99 hours. For example, if you want 5 seconds delay time, you can set 5 (s).

Scaring Birds Remote Controlling Flashing Lamp

Question from customer:

I want to use the 1 channel remote control to operate flashing  lamp in a tree to scare birds in the evening from roosting.

Answer:

It is a good idea to scare birds from roosting in the evening by remote controlling a flashing  lamp  because you must be very furious at noise to spoil your sweet dream or interfere with your other activities. Our suggestion is that you can choose this 1 channel dc triggered long distance remote gadget (S1X-DC12-ANT2+CB-2). You can wiring one flashing lamp to relay channel. Flashing  lamp can get power from receiver directly. With external extended antenna, this remote gadget will transmit signal up to 2000m (6000ft) in the open field.

Here is the wiring diagram. Flashing lamp is connected to terminals A&B of receiver. And supply power to receiver.

Operation:

There are two working modes for your information. They are momentary and latched modes.

1. Setting control mode Momentary: Only connect Jumper-1.

Press and hold big button: Turn on the relay, terminal A&B output DC power. The flashing  lamp  will keep flashing constantly.

Release big button: Turn off the relay, terminal A&B no output. There is no flashing from lamp.

2. Setting control mode Latched: Do not connect Jumper-1 and Jumper-2.

Press big button: Turn on the relay, terminal A&B output DC power. The flashing  lamp  will be remote controlled and keep flashing all the time.

Press small button: Turn off the relay, terminal A&B no output. The  lamp  is off.
