Hobby Project Motors Remote Controlling

Overview:

I want to control 6 different small electric DC motors for a hobby project.

Solution:

This 12 channel dc remote controller (S12CA-DC12+CV-12) can help you controls 6 dc motors’ positive and reverse rotation. The receiver works with a 12-button remote transmitter. It only can be used to control 6 motors for every two relays in the receiver can control one motor to rotate in forward and reverse other than controlling at most 12 same or different off/on electric devices. Remote distance is up to 500m.

Look at the following wiring diagram and picture. The wiring is just a little complicated. B is common contact. Each motor should be connected to B terminals of every two relays. A is normally closed contact and C is normally open contact. Connect contact C to the positive and connect contact A to the negative. We connect motors one by one.

Operation:

There are more than one working modes of that controller. Generally speaking, you will choose the momentary mode for motor controlling.

Learning Momentary control mode: When the receiver is in the status of LEARNING, press button 2 of the remote control.

Control mode Momentary (Channel 1~12): Press and hold -> On; Release -> Off.

Controlling motors at random just for an example from following demonstration:

If you want you control Motor 4:

Press and hold button 7, motor rotates in positive direction; Release button 7, motor 4 stops. Press and hold button 8, motor rotates in reverse direction; Release button 8, motor 4 stops.

2000m 9V Actuated Toggle Mode Remote Controller Works at a Port

Overview:

I am looking for a RF Remote Control covers a distance of 1000-2000 meters for one port only, and output Relay Minimum with current 3 amps and working on the 9-volt battery.

small-port

Solution:

We recommend This 1 channel dc rf remote control system (S1T-DC09-ANT2+CB-1), which operates in 6V/9V/12V/24V. 12V is the standard voltage. 9V is also available if you need. Any device with voltage of AC110~240V or DC0~28V can be connected to that controller. It is great for hard to reach lights or other DC/AC electrical devices, remote distance is up to 2000m. Applications include light remote control, electric gate remote control, electric window / blind remote control, etc. Then maximum current output is 10 amps and it can work on the 9-volt battery. Transmitter distance is 2000m in the open field.

It is the normally open and closed contact, so your device at port is supposed to be wired to normally open contact. You can only wire one device on that controller because it has only one relay (one channel).

After wiring, the device at port should be added additional power. Turn on the controller.

Press button: Turn on relay, turn on device (connect B and C, disconnect A and B)

Press button again: Turn off relay, turn off device (disconnect B and C, connect A and B)

12V Motors Run Forward and Reverse through High amp Load Motor Controlling Kit

Overview:

“I want a remote control receiver to control two motors walking a distance of 100 meters without obstacles. The remote control has a receiver to turn two 12V motors. For each motor I want to control forward and reverse.

The operation shall be as follows:

When I press the button, the motor runs. When I release the button, the motor stops. This also applies to the reverse. Please advise me that you?”

Solution:

We recommend high amp load motor controlling kit (S2PF-DC12&CV-6-2) to you. This controller is specially designed for controlling DC motors of rolling blinds / doors, projection screens, awnings, pumps, winches, conveyors or other appliances and mechanicals with voltage DC12V/24V. With two kinds of voltage direct output, it is applied to DC 12/24V electric appliances. Transmitting distance is 500m/1500ft (theoretically).

Wiring and Operation are fairly easy.

You can connect contact terminals “A1” and “A2” to motor 1; Then you can connect contact terminals “B1” and “B2” to motor 2. Connect contact terminals “+” and “—” to power supply DC 12V or 24V;

As you described, you can choose “Momentary Mode” for your motors’ operation. Press button, motor runs; release button, motor stops.

Setting control mode Momentary: Only connect Jumper-1 (CN1)

Press and hold button ▲ on the left:  Motor 1 rotates in positive direction

Release button ▲ on the left:  Motor 1 stops

Press and hold button▼ on the left:  Motor 1 rotates in reversal direction

Release button ▼ on the left:  Motor 1 stops

Press and hold button ▲ on the right:  Motor 2 rotates in positive direction

Release button▲ on the right:  Motor 2 stops

Press and hold button▼ on the right:  Motor 2 rotates in reversal direction

Release button ▼ on the right:  Motor 2 stops

High amp Load Receiver and Wall-mounted Rocker Switch for Pump

Overview:

I want to remote control my submersible pump which draws water every day. It is 30amps and runs 220V power supply. Can you get the single channel remote control kit 30a ac 110V/220v with a wall mount remote control switch?

Solution:

We suggest that you can use 110V/220V power output high amp load receiver (S1PX-AC220) & wall mounted rocker switch. The receiver circuit is designed for high capacity device (30amps). It is 110V/220V power output, you don’t have to add additional power supply for your submersible pump which is to be controlled. You can only wire submersible pump to receiver “OUTPUT” terminals. When power for receiver is on, submersible pump will work. And when high amp load receiver works the wall mounted rocker switch, their working distance can reach 500m (theoretical data in the open field). You can use screws to install rocker switch to the wall.

Wire submersible pump to the L&N contact terminal of receiver, and power receiver on. Install rocker switch on the wall.

Press the rocker switch, submersible pump start to draw water.

Press the rocker switch again, submersible pump stop drawing water.

Low Power Triggered Transmitter and 120V Receiver Module Kit Feed your Load

Question from customer:

“I am looking for a 120V rf transmitter module, single channel that is normally open. I want it to transmit signal when power is applied. I want to pair a 120V rf receiver relay with it, normally open. When I apply power to the transmitter, I want the receiver to close the relay feeding my load. You have a remote control system that meets this need, but I would like to hardwire a 120V switch rather than use a remote. ”

Answer:

We recommend this 1 channel 220V universal receiver (S1U-AC220) and the low current triggered transmitter (CB-2V) with a 120V/12V power adapter. The receiver is normally open and closed contact, so you can wire AC 110~240V or DC 0~28V actuated device, such as lights, motors, fans, electrically operated doors/locks/windows/blinds/cars or other appliances. The transmitter is DC power 5~28V input, that is to say, you need supply 5-28V power to this transmitter.

remote-control-kit

You can connect this adapter to the transmitter. And your device will be wired to receiver as following picture.

transmitter-circuit

When 120V power is applied to this adapter, adapter will convert ac power to dc power output so that transmitter will trigger the receiver and the receiver will close the relay to feed your load.
