Automated Lamp control—By Motion Detector

 

Motion detector is a vital component of security, automated light control, home control, and other useful systems. It is used to detect any moving objects, particularly people. It is usually used in hall gate, corridor or staircase. We will try to make motion detector led lamp with infrared motion detector (W-01) and rf receiver with time delay function (S1DA-DC12). The working distance of motion detector is 100m (open field). The detection distance is 10m. The rf receiver is an adjustable time delay receiver. Delay time can be adjusted as you like within 0 second~99 hours.

 

 

Let’s see the following material. We have motion detector, receiver, led lamp, dc 12V power supply.

 

 

The wiring and operation pictures are as follows:

 

Wire the rf receiver to the lamp.

 

 

Set delay time: 5 seconds and switch on the power.

 

 

Hand moves around the motion detector, the light turns on automatically.

 

 

 

When there is no motion, the light will be off by itself after 5 seconds.

LED Lamp is Controlled by RF Transceiver

Question from customer

Hi I have a 12V powered standalone device that is installed on a carbon fiber ledge (facing up) up on top of a very high carbon fiber mast (50m high) and as you can imagine it’s not ideal to get someone to go up and down the mast to turn this device on/off (or to replace the battery ).

Can you outline suggest a suitable/reliable product of yours to switch my (1 channel) device on/off and has very little demands on the 12V battery (as I need it to last as long as possible by switching it off)?

I’m actually using an 11.1V 5000mA power strip (that could power your relay receiver if has low current demands).

So maybe you can you tell me the receivers power demands to achieve this task please?

Answer

We recommend the receiver (model 0020290 S1SL-DC12) and the transmitter CB-2 to you. It is the 12 V one channel latched mode remote transceiver. It is also activated by 12V power supply. Paired with long distance transmitter CB-2, its working distance can be 1000m (3000ft). There is no need to go up and down the mast to turn device on and off. Using a remote controller to control device, it is very convenient to you. As regards the latched mode, it is motivated by relay group. For relay group, only one relay will be on at a time. So the big button of this transmitter only turns on the device when you press. And the small button only turns off the device.

We made a demonstration to show how to use this remote controller.

First off all, we prepared the following material.

According to the wiring diagram, lamp is connected to the normally open terminal NO &COM. The lamp should be supplied 12V power supply.

When you press big button on the transmitter, turn on lamp.

Phone WIFI Controller Controls Four DC Motors

Mobile phone WIFI controller is our new product. It contains WiFi controller with 8 relays (WF-8-1R) and WiFi controller software which should be installed into your mobile phone. When your installed this software, your mobile phone will become the transmitter. It can remote control many electric devices, just like lights, motors, fan, electric doors / windows, aircraft, remote cars, remote toys, rolling blinds, pumps, winches, or other electrical devices with voltage AC110~240V or DC0~28V.

Here we would like to show you how to control 4 dc motors in positive and reversal rotation. The material preparation pictures are as follows:

Here is the wiring diagram and picture. Every motor should be connected to correspondent terminals of relays according to the diagram.

Switch on power, 3 LED indication lights are switched on one by one (Mobile phone has connected to WIFI controller when 3 LED indication lights are all on), we can start the operation.

Press WIFI controller software icon and press “Connect” icon.

Set Momentary control mode: Press the ▼ icon of  channel 1, 2, 3, 4. Choose M (Momentary) control mode.

Press and hold button 1, motor 1 rotates in positive direction; Release button 1, motor 1 stops.

Press and hold button 2, motor 1 rotates in reversal direction; Release button 2, motor 1 stops.

Default Mode of software is Toggle Mode. Channel 5, 6, 7, 8 are toggle mode initially. Do as the Momentary Mode setting procedure shown to set Toggle Mode When you need to switch to it. (As the following picture shown)

Press button 5, motor 3 rotates in positive direction; Press button 5 again, motor 3 stops.

Press button 6, motor 3 rotates in reversal direction; Press button 6 again, motor 3 stops.

 

Long Range Control 4 LED Lamps—On to Many Series System

Question from customer:

I am looking for a long range (1000m theoretically) RF control. The transmitter can be 4 buttons.  The receivers should be 12V DC models with 2 channels each and a remote antenna for each receiver.

Our answer:

We recommend 2 channel one to many remote control kit—S2UB-DC12+CB-4. The receiver is designed for one-transmitter-many-receivers system. There are two channels for each receiver. You can use 2 receivers with transmitter CV-4 or CB-4. For the transmitter, we recommend CB-4 to you because the working distance of this transmitter can be 1000m when it pairs with the receiver. As your requirement, you want to add a remote antenna for each receiver. Certainly, you can choose external antennas for them (see the following pictures). With the extended external antennas, the transmitting distance will reach about 2000m in the open air. This kit is also a multi-mode remote control which includes four working modes, toggle, momentary, latched and momentary+toggle.

 

 

We should prepare two receivers, one transmitter, 4 lamps, and 12V power supply.

This is the wiring diagram. According to the left side diagram, two led lamps are both connected to common terminals B of two relays and using wires to connect normally open terminals C of two relays. Then, two lamps is supplied 12 V power supply. On the other hand, we should offer power supply to the receiver. Do the same procedure for another receiver.

 

Press button A, turn on lamp 1; Press button A again, turn off lamp 1.

Press button B, turn on lamp 2; Press button B again, turn off lamp 2.

Press button C, turn on lamp 3; Press button C again, turn off lamp 3.

Press button D, turn on lamp 4; Press button D again, turn off lamp 4.
