Answer:

We recommend model 12 Channel DC6V Remote Controller – 1 Transmitter & 12 Receiver  (12S1UB-DC06&1CV-12). This RF remote controller has the special ability to learn remote codes, allowing it to be used in one-transmitter-to-many-receivers system. That is to say, you only need a transmitter to control 12 receivers. 6V is added to receiver as activated power. It operates in toggle, momentary, and latched mode (set the mode as you like freely). It is great for hard to reach lights or other DC/AC electrical devices, remote distance can be 500m (theoretically). And it is applied for controlling lights, motors, fans, electrically operated doors / locks / windows / blinds / cars or other appliances with voltage AC110~240V or DC0~28V.

Here is the wiring diagram. LED lamp is connected to normally open terminals B&C. And add a wire between terminals “B&-“ and another wire to terminals “C&+”. At last, wire a plug to terminals “+&-“. LED lamp and receiver will share the same power supply——6V.

It’s easy to set and operate. You can press each button on the transmitter to control the corresponding receiver to control LED lamp.

2000M Long Range Remote Controlling

Question from customer:

I want to install a set of wireless remote controls, include 8 transmitters in 8 different places (max. 500 m) and one receiver in a specific location. The transmitter transmits a wireless signal to control a closed contact.

Answer:

We recommend 2000m long range toggle remote control (S1T-DC12-ANT2+CB-1). According to your requirement, you can choose 8 transmitters (CB-1) to work with the receiver. There are normally open/closed contacts in it which are able to connect device activated by DC 0~28V or AC110~240V. With external extended antenna, its working distance has reached 2000M in the open field. You can use 8 transmitters to remote control receiver from different directions.

This kind of remote control is activated by DC12 power supply. Toggle Mode is the only working mode of it. Here is the wiring diagram. Initial state: A, B = Normally Closed; B, C = Normally Open. Wire your device to normally closed contact A&B terminals. If you do this, your device is turned on always, that is to say, your device will on work all the time.

When you press button on the transmitter (connect B and C, disconnect A and B), turn off device; When you press button again (disconnect B and C, connect A and B), turn on device.

500M Toggle Transmitter Remote Control 4 Lamps in House

Question from customer:

I’m looking for a wireless remote that I can use to create a simple on off switch to 4 AC lights fixtures for living room, bed room, kitchen, shower room’s illumination. Do you have a recommendation for which wireless remote or RF transmitters may be better choice for this task?

house illumination

Answer:

We recommend model 4Channel AC110V~220V Remote Controller – 1 Transmitter & 4 Receivers   (4S1T-AC110/220V+CV-4). The AC RF remote control switch system, which is one transmitter pairs with four receivers. With about 500 meters range (theoretically), it can widely used in lights / lamps , motors, fans, cameras, video signals, audio signals, garage doors, electric shutter doors, telescopic doors, windows, cars, etc. This remote control has a toggle control mode which is the only working mode in it. It is a low cost remote control with high quality. Extremely easy to install and use. The maximum current is 3 ampere each channel.

6 One Channel Receivers and One Transmitter for 6 Lights

Question from customer:

I am about to install a solar panel in a small beach house to give 6 lights, I was thinking of using your remote controls. I need one remote for all 6 lights. What I need for this it is all 12 voltage.

beach house

Answer:

We recommend you to use one 500M transmitter with 6 DC receivers (6S1XB-DC12+CV-6). It is “One to many series” which includes one-transmitter-to-many-receiver system and one-receiver-to-many-transmitter system. It is often used for controlling two or more electrical devices in different places by one remote; or one electrical device by two or more remote. Here is one transmitter to 6 receivers. The receiver is 12V direct power output so there is no need to supply power to the device which is connected to the receiver. Its working distance is about 500m in the open field.

The wiring procedure is fairly simple. Lights are wired to A&B terminals (+and -) of receivers one by one. Then you supply 12V power to each receiver respectively. So it works.

Extended Range Remote for Wharf Lights

Question from customer:

I am installing 12v DC lighting on my boat wharf. It will operate off a 12v battery with a solar charger. I need a long range on/off remote for the lights. My house is about 400 ft away. I have no AC power at the  wharf. I was planning on two 12 v lights.

dock lights

Answer:

We recommend you 2 one-many-system single channel receivers (S1UB-DC12-ANT2) and the long range remote (CB-2). The DC power activated remote is so favorable to you since you have a 12V battery with solar charger. The one-many-system means that you can use one transmitter control more than two receivers. There is no interference between two receivers because they are powered by different adaptors. With external extended antenna, working distance of remote controller extends 1500m, up to 2000m without any obstacles in the open field. So it is believed that the signal can be transmitted from your house to the  wharf successfully.

We make a presentation of this kind of remote. First, here is the material preparation.

2×1 channel receiver (S1UB-DC12-ANT2)

1×long range transmitter(CB-2)

2×LED light(DC 12V)

2×12V adaptor
