The switch gate remote control: the essentials in a few words…

The gate remote control switch as its name indicates it is a remote control which has switches. If you open the case, you see a room composed of mini switches, called switches. Depending on the model, the number of switches varies from 8 to 12. It is the combination of the positions of these small switches that creates the unique code that allows you to control your electric gate.

 

This means that remote controls with switch programming are interchangeable between them if they have the same number of switches and the same frequency.

 

Programming by Switch

Switches are small switches located inside your remote control. To successfully program its gate remote control, you must reproduce the same code as your old remote control.

 

Programming a new remote control switch is not complicated. To start, use the old remote control, which is already programmed. Open it and then open your new remote control as well. Using a screwdriver and placing after the switches of the new remote control in the same position, as those of your original remote control. This will allow you to reproduce the same combination.

 

Then, insert the battery (respecting the polarities) then close the two boxes. You only have to test the proper operation of your new remote control.

What if you lost the old remote?

Even if you no longer have the old remote control, you can still easily program your new rf remote control. First, open your remote control and receiver. Next, position the switches on the new remote control in the same way as those on the receiver (again, you will need a screwdriver).

1 Channel Long Range Transmitter of Remote Control by one Relay

 I need a wireless relay setup like the 1 channel long range unit that you have listed. I prefer a circuit board type transmitter instead of a hand held unit with a NO input for the transmit signal. Is this available?

  We introduce the remote control device to you according to your requirement. It is model: S1M-DC12-ANT2 & CB-1. The receiver has one relay (S1M-DC12-ANT2) in it and the transmitter has one button (CB-1). The transmitter is controlled by the relay in your equipment instead of a hand held unit. That means you can connect the transmitter by one wire to the relay in your equipment. When the relay controls the transmitter, the transmitter will automatically launch wireless RF signal instead of you press the button. And the wireless RF signal can pass through doors, walls and floors by remote control.

It can be used to remote control lights, motors, fans, electrically operated doors/ locks/ windows/ blinds/ cars or other appliances with AC110~240V or DC0~28V. You can turn on/off the appliances by transmitter (remote control) within a reliable distance. The remote control distance is 1000m/3000ft theoretically.

Here is the circuit diagram. You can connect the transmitter to “A & B” output terminal of the relay in your equipment. Then supply power to the receiver. When the relay is normally closed, the transmitter will launch wireless RF signal with remote control and can receive by the receiver.

Wireless Remote Control Transmitter by Connecting Wires to the equipment with 6 relays

Question from customer:

   I can use 4 each of the 6 relay/channel receivers. I cannot use a handheld remote with buttons. I need 4 transmitters that I can control each transmitter with 6 switch / contact     closures. There will be no one there to push a button. Basically there will be 6 relays external to the transmitter that will serve as the input to the transmitter. When any one of the relays operate the transmitter will cause the corresponding relay to close in the receiver. I have  to be able to match each transmitter with one of the receivers so there will be no interference between them.

 Answer:

   According to your requirement, we advise you to use the facility: it is model S6C-DC12-ANT2 & CB-6. The receiver has 6 relays (S6-DC12-ANT2) and the transmitter has 6 switches (CB-6). You can connect 12 wires of transmitter to the 6 relays in your equipment. That means the relay can control the transmitter. When one of the relays in the equipment operates and the relay to close, the transmitter will launch RF wireless signal with remote control. The RF wireless signal can pass through walls, floors and doors, then can be received by the receiver.

   It can control lights, motors, fans, electrically operated doors/locks/windows/blinds/cars or other appliances with AC110~240V or DC0~28V. You can turn on/off the appliances with transmitter (remote control). And the working distance of remote control is 2000m/6000ft theoretically because of the receiver with external extend antenna (ANT2).
