The switch gate remote control: the essentials in a few words…

The gate remote control switch as its name indicates it is a remote control which has switches. If you open the case, you see a room composed of mini switches, called switches. Depending on the model, the number of switches varies from 8 to 12. It is the combination of the positions of these small switches that creates the unique code that allows you to control your electric gate.

 

This means that remote controls with switch programming are interchangeable between them if they have the same number of switches and the same frequency.

 

Programming by Switch

Switches are small switches located inside your remote control. To successfully program its gate remote control, you must reproduce the same code as your old remote control.

 

Programming a new remote control switch is not complicated. To start, use the old remote control, which is already programmed. Open it and then open your new remote control as well. Using a screwdriver and placing after the switches of the new remote control in the same position, as those of your original remote control. This will allow you to reproduce the same combination.

 

Then, insert the battery (respecting the polarities) then close the two boxes. You only have to test the proper operation of your new remote control.

What if you lost the old remote?

Even if you no longer have the old remote control, you can still easily program your new rf remote control. First, open your remote control and receiver. Next, position the switches on the new remote control in the same way as those on the receiver (again, you will need a screwdriver).

We recommend the model of controlling unit—wall switch and remote transmitter (HS-1+CP-1). This controlling unit contains a wall switch and remote transmitter.

As your requirement, a regular switch on the wall is our wall switch product, and it pairs with a remote transmitter which is portable for you to use from the boats. This unit controls lamps, fans or other appliances with voltage AC 100~250V. It is also suitable for Incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps and energy saving lamps. But it cannot work in LED lamps. By them, you can turn on/ off the lamp with remote control from any place within a reliable distance, the wireless signal can pass through walls, floors and doors.

Let’s see about the wiring diagram and practical application procedure. At first, we should follow the wiring diagram to do some wiring. Taking apart the wall switch, then you can connect wires. Neutral wire is connected to AC lamp. Wire AC lamp to terminal “Out 1” of wall switch. Live wire is connected to terminal “In” of wall switch.

After fixing wall switch on the wall with screws, we can learn remote control to wall switch. Then we can finish all installation.

Usage of Wall Switch:

When starting to walk to your dock from your house or parking your boat at dock after your tour, walking along trestle bridge to your house, you can press button, turn on the lamp; Press button again, turn off the lamp.

Usage of remote control transmitter CP-1:

After your departure from dock by your boat or arrival at dock, you can press button, turn on the lamp; Press button again, turn off the lamp.

RF Remote Control System To Open / Close 6 Rolling Blinds

Question:

I would like to have a centralized rf remote control system to open or close 6 rolling blinds without going from here to there. The electric motor of blinds operates on 240V. Can you suggest something as a solution? Thanks.

Answer:

You can order 6 receivers for motor remote control model of S1FC-AC220 (operating voltage range is AC 100V ~ 240V); 6 external magnetic antennas 0020909, which are respectively installed to each receiver for longer remote distance; and one remote transmitter CB-4.

As you see in the picture of remote, button A can be set to control motor of blinds forward direction; button C can be set to control reversal direction. Buttons B and D can be set to stop the rotation.

Wiring diagram is as follow:

Connect live wire to terminal “L” and neutral wire to terminal “N”. Then connect three wires of blind motor to terminals “UP”, “COMMON” and “DOWN”.

Press button A, 4 motors of blind rotate continuously in forward direction at the same time.
Press button B, rotation stops.
Press button C, 4 motors of blind rotate continuously in reversal direction at the same time.
Press button D, rotation stops.
