Remote Control Pump Instantly

Question from customer:

I want to remote control a water pump in the upstairs garden on and off from my kitchen which requires a momentary start signal. The pump has its own power from 110/120V AC and timed operation. Would you like to recommend me any favorable remote control switches?

Answer:

We recommend you 1 channel AC remote control (S1M-AC220+C-1). This 1 channel RF wireless remote control switch system is triggered by AC power (100V~240V)and allows you to control your lights, garage doors, fans, motors, cars…within about 100 meters distance. The receiver is direct power output. Power supply for the receiver and the water pump are the same. It means that you don’t have to prepare another power supply for water pump operation.

Wiring program is as follow:

Wire water pump to the zero wire and live wire (terminals 3&4). Then supply 100V~240V to the receiver.

Operation:

Press button and hold: Turn on relay, terminals 3 and 4 output AC power. The water pump can be activated.

Release button: Turn off relay, terminals 3 and 4 no output. The water pump will stop working.

Remote Controller is Used in Water Feeding System

I own a cattle farm and I have to add water to my feed ration when I feed the cattle. I used to have to pull the tractor and trailer up to the water pipe, climb down from the tractor and walk around the side, plug in a submersible pump and run water into the feed trailer.

It is fairly inconvenient. I am wondering if there is a way to make that all remote controlled. Soon, I found single channel AC high power module.

I used the remote controller to toggle power to a timer relay which in turn powered the coil of a small motor starter. Through the motor starter, I ran a receptacle which plugged the submersible pump into.

Here is the wiring.

So when I press the remote control button 1, the control unit then energizes the timer for 3 minutes to activate the motor starter for 120volts submersible pump running. When I think I have enough water in feed ration, I press the remote control button 2 to stop water flowing and I continue on with the feeding of the cattle. The reason for the timer in the circuit is a fail-safe. If I forget to turn off the pump when there is enough water in ration and drive away without turning off the pump, the timer will only allow the pump to run for a maximum of 3 minutes, preventing 3000 gallons of water being pumped out on the ground.

So far the unit seems to work flawlessly and I am VERY pleased with how the whole system works.

Long Range Automatic Water Pumping System

Recently, our company is promoting a brand new remote controlling product which is specially designed for controlling the water pump motor.

It is the automatic water pumping system.

1_01 copy

There are some remarkable characteristics of this new product. We add external extend antenna which makes the transmitting distance of this system as long as 2000m. There are two operation methods of this remote controller. The first method is to control water pump motor with manual controller. The second method is to control water pump motor automatically by two mini water level sensors.

The manual operation is fairly easy. When pressing the big button of the transmitter, CB-2, the “ON” signal will be sent to the receiver. The receiver will instruct water pump motor to pump water into the tank. When pressing the small button of the transmitter, CB-2, the “OFF” signal will be sent to the receiver. The receiver will instruct water pump motor to stop pumping water.

Pumping water automation by water level sensors is the highlight of this product. The key technology is the transmitter, CB-2N-2, which is designed to have 3 external wires. We named them wire 1, wire 2 and wire 3. The three wires will be connected to two mini water level sensors.

Let’s show you how it works.

First step, it is installation.

Put the water level sensor 1 downwards and install at the low water level position; Put the water level sensor 2 upwards and install at the high water level position.

Two wires of the water level sensor 1 are connected to wire 1 and wire 3 of transmitter CB-2N-2.

receiver-1

Second step:

When water reaches the low water level, two wires of the water level sensor 1 is connected and the transmitter is triggered. The transmitter will send an ‘ON”’ signal to the receiver. The receiver will instruct the water pump motor to pump water into the tank.

When water reaches the high water level, two wires of the water level sensor 2 is connected and the transmitter is triggered. The transmitter will send an “OFF” signal to the receiver. The receiver will instruct the water pump motor to stop pumping water.

Long Range Wireless Remote Control 3 phase Power Water Pump

Q:

I have a pump that supplies my farm with water. The motor on the pump is 3.7kw and is 3 phase power. The pump fills a 5000 litre tank which lasts about a day. The on-off switch is roughly 400m away from my house (no line of sight, lots of trees in-between). Would I be able to connect it to the switch so that I can switch the pump on and off from home 400m away?

A:

We recommend this long range AC latched rf remote control system.

With external extended antenna, this remote control unit can be long range controller. Transmitting distance is about 2000m. How to remote control 3 phase power water pump? Besides the transmitter and receiver, we should prepare a relay which is applied to the pump.

Step 1, the relay should be connected to the receiver. Then three live wires are connected to the relay and 3 phase power supply.

Step 2, another three live wires to connected the relay and water pump.

Step 3, power to the receiver. Pressing the big button of the transmitter, the receiver will receive an “ON” signal to instruct the reply and pump to work. Pressing the small button of the transmitter, the receiver will receive an “OFF” signal to instruct the reply and pump stop working.

Pumping water automatically with remote control system

James starts to manage a farm since this year. He needs to pump water to tank in the water tower for irrigation every day. At the beginning, James installed a water level sensor which is connected a gadget with two indication lights. When red light flashing, it means that the water level is low. He needs to switch on the water pump by hand. When the green light flashing, it means that the water level reaches the high level. Gradually, it is tired of him to run to 1000m away to monitor whether water level in the tank gets low or high and switch on or off the pump motor every day. So James would like something will send signal which can make switch of the motor turn on to pump water automatically. So how can we combine pump motor and water level senor with remote controller? Recently, we promote a latched rf remote control system,With the combination of those two gadgets, using a water level senor to remotely control the water pump motor is no longer a Gordian knot. This is a long distance remote controller kit. Transmitting distance is up to 1000m in open field.

In addition, the major characteristic of CB-2N is that it has two extended wires, which is wired to the electric device. When two wires are connected, the rf signal ”ON” will be sent out; When two wires are disconnected, the rf signal “OFF” will be sent out. That is easy to operate.

First, look at the circuit configuration.

Remote Control Wireless Switch & Controllers

Here is the wiring picture. The extended wires on transmitter should be connected to the water level sensor. The red wire from the motor is connected to the C terminal of the receiver and black wire from the motor is connected to the negative electrode of the power supply. The positive wire of the supply power is connected to B terminal and positive electrode of the receiver. The negative electrode of the power supply of power supply and receiver are connected together.

When the water level gets low, it makes the contacts of water sensor are closed; with extended wires of transmitter connection, the transmitter is triggered and transmits an RF signal “ON” to the receiver. The receiver output contacts are closed after received the signal, the pump begins to pump water. When the water gets high, it makes the contacts of water sensor are cut; the transmitter is triggered and transmits an RF signal “OFF” to the receiver. The receiver output contacts are cut after received the signal, the pump stops pumping water.
