10A Motor Remote Controller for Hoist

Question from customer

I have a ceiling mounted 110v hoist that I need to control wirelessly. It is currently controlled by hanging pendants. Please advise at to the proper wireless system.

Answer

We recommend the model of AC 100~240V Motor Momentary Remote Control (S1FM-AC220+1CV-2-2) to you. It is specially designed for controlling motor of rolling blinds / doors, projection screens, awnings, pumps, winches, conveyors, hoist or other appliances and mechanicals. With universal power input, it supports voltage of AC 100V-240V, which can be widely used in many countries, such as the U.S, Canada, UK and France.

Connect live wire to terminal “L” and neutral wire to terminal “N”. Then connect AC motor of hoist to terminals “UP”, “COMMOM” and “DOWN” directly. Or you can control your hoist through controlling hanging pendants. You can exchange “UP” and “DOWN” wires of motor to change the rotating direction of motor.

circuit

1. Remote Controlling by transmitter:

Press and hold button ▲ on remote : Terminals UP and COMMOM directly output AC110V / AC220V; motor rotates continuously in positive direction.

Release button ▲ on remote : Stop the motor.

Press and hold button ▼ on remote: Terminals DOWN and COMMOM directly output AC110V / AC220V; motor rotates continuously in reversal direction.

Release button ▼ on remote : Stop the motor.

2. Remote Controlling by manual button on the receiver:

Besides the controlling with transmitter, you can also control device with manual button on the receiver. Controlling

Note: Button ■ on receiver is useless.

Remote Control 4 LED Light Strips

Question from customer:

I am looking remote controller to control 4 LED light strips. Each of LED lights should be supported a 9V battery and remote controller should control over them individually wirelessly. I was wondering whether your 9V 4 channel wireless relays are favorable for me, basically, I am looking for a way to wirelessly control 4 led lights that draw very little power.

Answer:

We recommend 9V 4 channel multi-mode remote control module  to you (S4C-DC09 with C-4). This 4CH RF wireless remote control switch operates in toggle, momentary, latched and toggle + momentary control mode (set the mode as you like freely). You can use it to complete four operations at the same time. For example, turn the light on, open the door or control other dc/ac electrical devices in the meantime. It is applied for light remote control, motor remote control, garage door remote control, gate remote control, etc. The remote control distance is 100m (300ft).

As your requirement, you may set “Toggle mode” that means each led light strip will be controlled on and off by one button. They work individually and wirelessly. No interferences among them.

The following is the wiring diagram. We use four colors to distinguish four LED light strips. Each led light strips’ negative terminal should be connected to the receiver’s negative terminal. Each positive terminal of led light strips is supposed to connect to receiver normally open terminal C. Connect terminals B of receiver to receiver’s positive terminal with wires. At last, switch on the power.

Setting control mode Toggle: Only connect Jumper-2.

Press button 1, warm white color led light strip is on.

Press button 2, the green led light strip is on.

Press button 3, the red led light strip is on.

Press button 4, the white color led light strip is on.

Press button 1 again, the warm white color led light strip is off.

Press button 2 again, the green color led light strip is off.

Press button 3 again, the red color led light strip is off.

Press button 4 again, the white color led light strip is off.

Wirelessly Romote Control Water Valve by Sprinkler Controller

Question from Customer:

I am trying to design and build a remote switch system for my sprinkler system. I need to use the sprinkler controller (12v output for on) to trigger a transmitter to switch a 12v operated valve on the other side of the yard (about 300m away.) I have mains power at both locations but the underground 12v wire from the controller has been damaged so I would like to build a remote system to save putting new conduit for around 300m across the yard.

Looking at your systems, the easy part would be the receiver end because I would only need a 12v power supply. The hard part will be getting the transmitter to switch on when the sprinkler controller switches on (12v).

Answer:

We recommend direct power output high power long range remote control kit—S1PX-DC12-ANT2+CB-2V. The remarkable feature of this kit is that its transmitter is triggered DC power 5~28V input. That is to say, the transmitter will send out RF signal to receiver as long as it gets a 5~28V voltage from a device. Besides this advantage, its working distance is up to 2000m (6000ft). And the working current is 30amp. RF signal can pass through doors, walls and other obstacles.

remote control

Look at the following simulated diagram. The sprinkler control controls the valve box through the underground electrical wire initially. Unfortunately, the wire has been damaged. However, customer is unwilling to put new conduit for about 300m across the yard.

original wiring

So using our product to solve this problem is a wise choice. We connect the black wire of transmitter to the common wire of sprinkler controller; Connect the red wire of transmitter to wire from controller to valve. On the other hand, in the control valve box, valve common wire is supposed to be connected to the negative terminal of receiver; valve wire should be connected to the positive terminal of receiver. (As the following application circuit shown)

application circuit

Wiring modification

When you switch on sprinkler controller, the transmitter will be triggered by 12V voltage from sprinkler controller and sent out RF signal to indicate receiver to work. The valve is open and it starts the irrigation. Likewise, you switch off sprinkler controller, the triggered transmitter will indicate receiver to stop working. The valve is closed and it stops the irrigation.

There is no need to put new wire between sprinkler controller and valve control box. It is no longer the hardest part of getting transmitter to switch on when the sprinkler controller switches on.
